How do you disassemble the LS8 for storage?

The LS8 model LimbSaw can be disassembled for storage and transport by removing the pin, lowering the saw, and removing the lower boom, hoses, and receiver.

Transporting and storing a LimbSaw can be a bit challenging, but with the right steps and tools, the process can be done effectively.

The LS8 model LimbSaw comes with the lower boom, upper boom, and head. The total weight of the saw is about 95 pounds, with 60 pounds on the upper boom and 35 pounds on the lower boom. To disassemble it for storage, you'll need to pull the pin, lower the saw down, and place it back in the hole.

If you need to transport the saw, you can also disassemble it further. There are two bolts that hold the lower boom in place, and you can remove them to take the lower boom out. Then you can unhook the hoses and remove the receiver, which is an additional 6 pounds.

By following these steps, you can effectively disassemble, transport, and store the LS8 model LimbSaw.
